Over 9,000 obituaries are held in our archives. These are currently being added online at the EVLD website. To do a search, Click Here.

If the obituary for which you are searching is not found, please contact archivist Lacy Dunlavy who can search the paper files.

Eagle County newspapers dating back to the late 1800's and the 10th Mountain Division newspapers are digitized and online at the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection.  There are also microfilm copies of newspapers and a microfilm reader for public use at the Eagle Library.
